Tall Girl Halloween Costumes

Hey Tall Girl,
We all know the problem with pre-fab halloween costumes. Too short, even the biggest sizes are nearly child-length and the young me was always frustrated cuz the cleavage was never low enough (eye roll)! Fortunately, I've always been a fan of DIY, and costumes don't have to be one-style-fit-all anymore.
Some of my favorites that I have made are my Rainbow Brite. I made it in 2014, and I have used it many times since. I made a Dorothy costume circa 2007 that I put over a white button down and pair with ruby slippers I made from the the purple shoes I wore for my sister's wedding (can't find a picture). That one comes in easy and often.
While I love sewing and making our costumes, I have found some joy in the one-piece fleece costumes, mine is a purple axolotl, and I am also a fan of thrifting or creating a costume from items found in my own, or a friends closet. The witch costume was just a fun way to mess with my hair. A pumpkin is super easy with an orange top and sometimes a stem for a headband/hat. Recently I paired the Alta Reina base layers with a fun enough tie-dye fleece and went full 90's mix-tape/neon, staying nice and warm too (which is often a problem in the mountains). Check social media for that pic, it was a solid outfit!
Tell me your favorite tall girl costumes!
Have a super fun Halloween!!!
Cheerfully,
Suzi
