Hello Autumn!

Hey Tall Girl

Tis' the season for change and time to check out the views from the woods. I have been continuously stunned by the foliage this autumn, as I am most years. This year we have been really lucky where I live that it has lasted so long. This autumn has been unusually wet for the desert, but leaves have been turning for about a month, and this week we finally have some frosty mornings! There is snow accumulating in the shady spots on the mountain and surrounding areas. Sadly, the sun comes up just before 8am, but the lingering sunsets and long, deep shadows are a spectacle to behold every morning and evening. On my hiking earlier this week, I found a rock smiling at me, as the shadows hit its dents and dimples just so in the rising morning light (photo below). The hiking is perfect, because it's not too hot, yet not too cold. The dogs are finally comfortable with cooler temps and all the dear and elk wandering around are a treat for their senses! The ground is firm, and the views are abundant, what a great time of year.

I hope you are out having some tall girl adventures of your own. As I continue to share, the Alta Reina base layers continue to be the perfect combo for these chilly autumn adventures.

Two photos; one of a rock with shadows that make it look like a smiling face. The other photo is a tall woman standing indoors wearing Alta Reina Base Layers for tall women
